Silent Horizon
Silent Horizon
This image embodies my exploration of photography beyond description. Through transformation, movement, light, and visual reduction, familiar realities become spaces of perception, memory, and ambiguity. Situated between representation and abstraction, the work invites a slower way of seeing, where presence and absence coexist. It reflects an ongoing investigation into the hidden structures and shifting experiences that shape our understanding of the visible world.
Max Zun is a visual artist based in Lima whose practice centers on the exploration of abstraction as a primary methodology. By stripping the real world of its descriptive function, Zun reveals the core visual essence of the environment, tensioning the familiar until it transforms into an open-ended experience. His work balances rigorous analytical observation with intuitive sensitivity, bridging the gap between structure and sensation.
